Our babies are hand fed and hand tamed
by us in our loving home as a part of our family so they will be great
additions to your family. We are disease free and keep a closed aviary. The
birds are protected from the general public, but use to home environment
like TV, music, dogs, normal home noises and travel. These birds are
abundance weaned, allowed to fully fledge, are well socialized, healthy,
friendly, and playful. Pet quality birds is our number one goal. A wise bird owner understands the importance of starting with a healthy bird. Five Oaks Aviary warrants at the time of purchase, the bird purchased is in good health. We offer a 72 hour health guarantee with each and every baby. We accept deposits to hold a baby for you until weaned. We currently have about 30 pairs of breeding birds which include Blue & Gold Macaws, Military Macaws, & Yellow-collared Macaws. We have the brightly colored, and loving Aratinga Conures: Jenday Conures, and those wonderful and very talkative Blue Crown Conures. We also have the Quiet Pyrrhura Conures: Green Cheek Conures, Cinnamon Green Cheek Conures, Yellow-sided Green Cheek Conures, and the Pineapple Green Cheek Conure. We have unrelated pairs of the still rare and extremely beautiful Crimson Bellied Pyrrhura Conures. We also raise the sweet, gentle White Eared Leucotis. In 2006, we added the little Linnies (Lineolated Parakeets) to our home. In the African Species; we added in 2009, the Timneh Greys - TAG;s and the Senegals. We are looking forward to see what 2010 will bring to our family. We will ship birds at the buyers expense, weather permitting. Airline shipping is the only method of shipping we use (Will Rogers World Airport). We use either Delta or Contiential Airlines. We will also drive a reasonable distance from Oklahoma City to deliver birds.
